Established in 1984, Suram Trading Corporation is a direct importer of frozen shrimp to the United States. We are a Hispanic-owned and certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), headquartered in Coral Gables, Florida. Suram Trading specializes in shrimp trade and considers shrimp to be one of the most sustainable commodities in the seafood industry.

We believe in global sustainability and support organizations such as Friend of the Sea Sustainable Seafood and the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA), including its Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certification. Suram Trading sources products from certified shrimp processors and farms throughout Southeast Asia and Latin America.
